When I originally embarked on my learning journey I wanted to pursue my Bachelors in either Jewellery or Photography. Many years later it is not until now that I have started obtaining this goal.

I first decided to get into cheaper but certified Photography courses by doing City and Guilds Level 1, 2 and 3. There was a few years gap between my City and Guilds Level 2 and 3 and at first I felt very intimidated, overwhelmed and unsure but put my head down and got on with it. After attaining my Level 3 certification I then pursued a NCFE Level 3 in photography. Therefore, this has been my most recent photography qualification. I felt when I studied at Sutton College (SCOLA) that I got the best photography teacher, Mr. Ricardo Carluccio who taught me both for my City and Guilds and NCFE Level 3 courses. Ricardo, supported and motivated me to continue on this next chapter of my life which I want to be my long term career. It was one of my old classmates who told me that she found this online Bachelors degree course at Open College of Arts.

I have always been happy to see how no matter what age learning is encouraged and promoted in the UK. Therefore, as the saying goes better late than never.

Since I have started this journey I have had numerous trials and tribulations and all occurring simultaneously. Therefore, I need to try and block out everything and get back on track with my long term goal. I can warn you upfront it is going to be a long and bumpy road but hope you join and remain with me.
